Terms of Service

1. Who we are
HeyWatch ("we", "us", "our") is operated from Argentina by an independent operator. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we provide
Two distinct things:
- HeyWatch software — a self-hosted media application you download and install on your own computer. Provided free of charge, as-is, without warranty.
- Online Access — an optional, paid subscription service that allocates you a unique subdomain (e.g.
abc123.heywatch.tv) and operates an encrypted Cloudflare tunnel between your installed HeyWatch and the public internet, so you can reach your server from outside your home network.
3. What you are paying for
Online Access subscriptions cover network infrastructure exclusively: subdomain allocation, DNS, tunnel routing, DDoS protection, uptime monitoring, and customer support. You are not paying for:
- The HeyWatch software (it is free and remains free).
- Any content, films, shows, or media files.
- Storage, hosting, or transcoding of your media — that runs on your own hardware.
4. Your responsibility for content
You decide what to load onto your own server. You are solely responsible for the legality of the content you choose to access, store, or stream. We do not host, monitor, transcode, or have technical access to your content. The encrypted tunnel does not allow us to see what passes through it.

5. Account and authentication
Online Access is tied to the email address you provide at checkout. Sign-in to your server is delegated to Google OAuth via Supabase. We do not store passwords.
6. Billing and cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in US dollars (currently $2.99/month).
- You may cancel at any time from the customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
- We do not refund partial months.
- If we suspend or terminate your subscription for cause (see Acceptable Use), pre-paid time is non-refundable.
7. Service availability
We target 99.9% uptime for the network infrastructure (subdomain + tunnel + DNS). Brief interruptions, scheduled maintenance, or outages of our upstream providers (Cloudflare, Supabase) may occur. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties for the free software and limit our aggregate liability for the paid service to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the City of Buenos Aires, except where local consumer protection laws grant you broader rights.
